The heart behind every bouquet
Francine "Fran" Miller has been crafting beautiful floral arrangements in San Francisco's Mission District since 1995. What started as a small neighborhood stand has grown into a beloved local institution — but the spirit has never changed.
Growing up, Fran's grandmother kept a garden overflowing with color. Every morning Fran would help her cut flowers and arrange them in mason jars around the house. That ritual of turning something from the earth into a gift for someone you love stuck with her forever.
"Flowers aren't just decoration," Fran says. "They're how we say things that are hard to put into words — congratulations, I'm sorry, I love you, I'm thinking of you."
Today, Fran works alongside a small team of passionate florists, sourcing from local farms and growers whenever possible. Ten percent of every sale goes toward fighting homelessness across the Bay Area — because Fran believes a community that takes care of each other is the most beautiful thing of all.
